minirab Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 I believe that I have a small coolant leak from the thermostat housing, there is a gasket involved that goes to crap with age. Does anyone have/had this problem, and if so, what was your cost to repair. Mine is out of warrenty so this will be out of pocket. Thanks.:motor:
Mr. Ed Posted October 25, 2009 Report Posted October 25, 2009 (edited) Christine (CCC777) just had that experience, but I believe she was covered under warranty, including rollback transportation and a loaner by PMoA. A new thermostat with gasket should run under $45... couldn't find just the gasket price. I would imagine labor should be under an hour, and there might be a charge for coolant. Hope this helps.
