wyretrip Posted December 29, 2017 Report Posted December 29, 2017 So I have a Gen 3 2015 Cooper S 4 door. It doesn’t have the enhanced audio package that allows you to pair your Bluetooth audio to the stereo.. only the phone. I’ve done the plug in aux cable to my phone routine before and my goal with this car was to be able to put my phone on the dash mount and press play. No plugging or powering on manually. I’m pleased to report that I’ve been living the dream with this Harmon Kardon Bluetooth adapter. I’ve done audio comparisons with CD and you are leaving nothing behind. The Bluetooth adapter powers up when you unlock the car and the USB port becomes powered. The phone is paired before your butt hits the seat. The only thing I added was a smaller mini usb to usb cable so I didn’t have to wrap up the extra slack. Happy to demo it at any run or meet up! https://www.crutchfield.com/p_532BTA10/Harman-Kardon-BTA-10.html 1
Roberto Posted January 29, 2018 Report Posted January 29, 2018 Hi, I'm looking for a bluetooth since my mini doesn't include one as well, but I was looking at your link and it says it's a bluetooth for home, were you able to set it up on your car? are you able to place ph calls on it? Universal Bluetooth® wireless adapter for home stereos Thanks.
wyretrip Posted January 30, 2018 Author Report Posted January 30, 2018 Hi Roberto, The adapter I linked will connect to your car via aux port and to your phone via Bluetooth. It will provide media audio but not phone. Hope that is helpful!
