How do I follow things on the new forums?

With the new forums instead of "subscribing" to a topic or forum its now "Following". It's the same thing just a different title.

 

This option is visible while on desktop or tablet, when it is on mobile phone size it hides the option. It shows up in the same place for both forums and topics.

 

When you click on this it will expand with some more options:

If you click the Change how the notification is sent it will take you to the Notification Settings where you can change your defaults for how your receive notifications, by on site notifications in your notification center or through email.

 

If at any point you change your mind about following something, or even just want to update the settings for the one particular item, all you have to do is click the Following button again to bring the options back up.
