How to create a new event.

 

What you need to do is the following:

 

• Go to the calendar (not this events thread, look to the top under Browse)

• Click on Create Event

 

• Select the date and date options you would like.

 

• "Submit an Event" and it will appear on the events as a new thread post here in the events.

 

 

You don't need to open up RSVPs right away. If your event is over a month away you may want to wait until it's closer and then open up the RSVPs.

 

Always include the following once RSVPs are open

 

Date:

Meeting time:

Wheels up time:

Meeting place:

 

Description of event

 

Once it's within a month of the event it can be "Stickied" so that it always stays on the top

 

 

If you want to go more casual you can always use the Impromptu events forum which is a sub forum to the events. Just post your plans there, we generally ask that it be something within a week and that you're actually planning to attend.
