For Sale: A used fliptop armrest with storage compartment for Gen 1 MINIs. If you find your MINI is both short on storage opportunities for your junk and lacking in arm support as you sit stuck in Beltway traffic, then this is the ticket for you. Armrest is not obtrusive and you can still use the rear cup-holder, although it's even more of a contortion than normal to do so. Doesn't interfere with the parking brake or any switches. Easy to install. These sell online for about $240. This one is almost ten years old, but in great shape. There is some scuffing on the passenger side leg from the seat-back adjustment lever, but you won't see it once installed.

To install you just need the right Torx socket to remove the rear seat bolts. Lean the seats forward to get space to slide the feet under the tracks, and torque back to spec.

I was going to say it also looks like a black AT-AT Walker and then was corrected. It looks like a black AT-ST Walker. (And if you know the difference, than you're a bigger nerd than I am....)
