  1. The parts aren't all that bad. . . the labor, well, lets just say: The front of your MINI has to come off, and it isn't pretty. Figure a full 3-5 days for labor if dealing with a shop.

I had my clutch upgraded under 2 days after driving it off the lot, went to visit, was SHOCKED to see the whole front end of my 2003 on the ground, I almost cried.

Because it was all under warranty, I didn't worry, but, to see the car in such a state of disrepair, I NEVER thought it would come back together (and this is after me rebuilding 2 of my of my own cars, back in the day). End of the day, life is good. . . but, it's NOT a small job.

Find a shop that knows what they are doing, buy your own parts to supply them with, and cross your fingers, hope for the best.

Thanks for the info! Im shopping around for labor rates=D I am a DIY kinda guy, but from what I read the engine and tranny need to come out and its just a a hassle. I dont have the time haha

  2. should be a pretty simple, straight forward fix. . . though I am not sure why a curb check would throw things off. . . it's either a motor, breaker, or a whole assembly. I am not even sure why a curb check would even effect your window, period. Check your connections. If it didn't set off your airbags, then I am not sure how this would have changed the motor function of the window. You found stock wiring, from what I see... if your airbag didn't go off, then it should be a simple fix.

    Stay alert, please.

Those are wires, They are metal cables =/ When I had the panels off today everything was secure. This Im reallllly low the curb check did a lil more damage =(

  3. Sooo the other day I ran into a little issue (lol) Went into a curb at medium speed. (dowsed off :frown: ) My window stopped functioning all together. Finally got around to disassembling the door to check out the regulator and other parts and find this...

The wires, im guessing are used like a pulley system, were choked up around the gear on my reg. Not sure if there is an easy way to fix this issue. Any one know where I can get OEM window parts besides a junk yard?

    Thanks

  6. I think Mike is still trying to find a tripod that's low enough to do this justice! We had to laugh when he took the car off the jack stands the first time. Not only was there no wheel gap, the rubber was STUFFED! I'm pretty sure a #2 pencil would have been an obstacle! Back up in the air, adjustments to be made.

We'll get some pics at the pumpkin-less pumpkin run later today. We might be able to get a few of the lowered cars together for it.

I get off work at 9am, So a few redbulls And I may see you guys for the start of the run! Can wait to see pics if I cant make it out haha

  7. what exactly does hubcentric do? Just push the wheels out to the edge of the car? That would look goood.. does it in anyway mess the with stability or damage the wheels?

By hubcentric it means they are made to Fit the 56mm bore of the mini's hub.(or what ever bore you order) So its a prefect, more balanced fit.

  8. As the title states I have some Hubcentric Spacers (cant remember brand) 2x 15mm and 2x 25mm. Ill let em go for 20 a spacer(x1) or 70 for the set(x4)

I do not have the extended lugs for the 15mm's or the studs for the 25mm Sorry =(

Paypal/cash/credit Will ship if need be.

  9. After I get to install the exhaust I'll finally get to motor a little more comfortably. Since I came from a catless turbo back exhaust on my Subaru.
