    K, so my girlfriends just confirmed with me so that's at least 3 of us (4 if I bring the step-daughter). If I get more people, we'll have another car (non-MINI though). My group would be coming from Arlington area. Would you want to meet in Harper's Ferry or closer to home and ride together? What time are you thinking?

    Craig will have to validate my information, but a couple weeks ago he said he was going to go with the company BTI Whitewater (AKA Butt Tubes Inc) which is based out of Harpers Ferry, WV.

    Recreational Kayaking! Enjoy a get-in-and-go hard boat kayaking experience on the scenic flatwater of the Potomac River. Each of our Old Town kayaks comes with a comfort flex adjustable, padded seat and cup holder that allows you to have a stable and comfortable ride.

     

    Experience the freedom and independence of paddling at your own pace. BTI provides the boat, paddle, life vest, and shuttles to and from the river. The half day experience takes about 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hours. Our kayaks are suitable for ages 12 and up. All kayakers must know how to swim.

     

    Price is $35 for half day. $70 for full day.

    Yup, he did mine using the cartoon version of Cricket, so that's why the color's off. As soon as he clears out some of this "real" work (graphic design) he said he'll do a new rendering of Lola and get the Sparkling Silver color right. Once he has the MINI's shape designed he can color it to match any MINI.

    I was just driving by Courthouse in Arlington when a red MINI with white stripes pulled up along my side and the owner reciprocated my wave :wavey:. Yeah! Then we complimented each others MINIs and I asked if he was a DCMM member and he said yes! He asked me my username when the light changed.

    Pretty Pimped out Range Rover was coming up pretty "high and tight" behind BLUR in traffic yesterday. He finally passed me, because I let him of course, but then dropped back again. He did this a few times before the bottle neck stopped us. He pulls up next to me on the LEFT SHOULDER!

     

    Yells out, "That is a bad a$$ MINI with a bad a$$ plate!" His plates read, "DA FEW". He is a Marine Recruiter in DC. He said he too is a SONIC the Hedgehog fan! I have only met a handful of people who got the reference without me pointing it out.

    He thanked me for my service, asked to merge in front of me, I said NO! As the bottleneck opened up we flew around 495! :motor: :embarassed::motor::embarassed:

    Just want to let you all know that rickyr53, Isadinho, and MiniLvr (us) are MINI caravanning from Alrington, VA to the Wegmans in Sterling on Sunday morning. More are welcome to join us if you'd like. We're planning on meeting at TJ Middle School/Community Center.

    Alright, my gut keeps telling me Lola because I keep singing to myself... "Whatever Lola wants.... Lola gets...."

     

    I know there's a member named "LolitaNme" who's mini is named Lolita. Is that too similar?

     

    My other thought is some variation of "Sparkling Silver"...

    Sparkz, Sparky, Sparkle, Sparkles... etc

     

    Sparkles is the winner in that group.
