Just got this from the HR MINIs facebook page.

Don't attempt to use the Monitor Merrimack Memorial Bridge Tunnel Northbound this weekend. It will be closed from 8 P.M. Friday night til 5 A.M. Monday morning for repairs!

This affects people coming from the southside (coming up from Norfolk, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Virginia Beach), but in case you were planning to drive there (visit friends or something) please plan accordingly.

I'm so glad there's new/continued interest in the dinner this Sunday. I sent the PMs to all registered attendees (even the no's who didn't say they were out of town) on Wednesday notifying them of the location change. I would really hate it if they missed the message and went to the National Harbor, but then again there are worse places they could end up.

Just helping spread the word...

Anyone interested in buying a '07 MINI Cooper S, Manual transmission, Laser Blue with white stripes and white roof. The owner is trying to join the Marine Corps and needs to sell it ASAP at a loss to avoid the bank issuing a dept warrant that which will kill his chances of going in to the Marine Corps? The MINI is currently at the bank's repossesion lot and has agreed to let him sell it at the loss.

He says he'll take the first reasonable offer, but initially posted that he's trying get $12K for it and will settle the difference with the bank.

Additonally he says, "I've got the sportline springs, I have a brand new BRG sport front bumper (bought it cuz I was gonna try somethin and didn't want to kill the perfectly good bumper on it now, an intercooler from an srt4, (I think it will fit, havent tried it yet) jcw brake duct kit modified to fit non jcw bumper. noise maker delete, boost gauge, and checkered flag door and center console inserts.

Hey everyone, there's a few issues with the resturant we picked that is going to lead us to have to pick another location for our dinner. Main issue is the mandatory $45 fixed price menu and deposit for our larger party.

Ali is helping me out with finding a new location. I hope this doesn't turn anyone away, but we'll post something ASAP. I'll PM everyone who's already RSVPed tonight.

I have an entire cabin I am letting go as I've decided to room with someone else rather than hunt down roomies this year.

The Cabin is near the fire pit and just up the road from Katies Cabin. It's a remodeled cabin, so very nice inside

It is a 2 bedroom 2 bath cabin, I believe it is $239 a night. all I need is someone to reimburse me the deposit, we'll call up fontana and switch the names on the cabin. Let me know... thanks

This is a last call for anyone interested in taking over my reservation at the Historic Tapoco Lodge in Robbinsville, NC.

I've had this reservation to two months and will not need it since we're staying in a cabin in Fontana. Even though I have until 24 hours prior to cancel my reservation, I'm not doing anyone justice by holding onto it. I've kept my reservation in case there's someone who still needs lodging and would like to take over the reservation. I'd rather not let it be out of sight, out of mind and not get a refund (I know myself... :banghead:) Therefore, I'm cancelling my reservation this Friday.

I have a May 2-6 reservation for a Calderwood Flat, Mini Suite.

This beautifully updated room once served as the ladies’ wait staff dormitory in the 1930’s and has been renovated in the Tapoco style.
