  1. Those are cool. You're always doing fun things with post processing. Teach me!!!!!

I did find a model of a orange convertable, but I think it is a second gen. Tigger was the first thing that always comes to mind when I see those Orange convertables.

  2. Well I've been playing with my new 3D Rendering software and I though there was nothing better to practice with than DCMM and a mini cooper. I'll be posting some of the pictures that I put together and some of the videos shortly..

  3. I had a great time at the party. I didn't get anything done, but got some great ideas. I ended up learning about the PlastiDip and went home and gave it a shot the next day. It turned out pretty good. I can see after the sun came up that there were a couple little things that could have been improved, but it was a good learning experience, and taking all of the parts off and replacing them was a learning experience in itself.

  4. I dont know how much you like music, but I don't know how I would get by without my Harmon Kardon stereo system. I had to take my mini to the dealership to get some work done. The gave me a loaner, and it didn't have the upgraded stereo system. What I dissapointment. That and the fact it wasn't a "S" and it was an automatic, but I would highly recommend the upgraded stereo. Even if you don't like your music loud, it just sounds so much better.

  5. Well I'm planning to get up at the :reddy: of dawn to meet them for their pre-run.

Wheels up at the Silver Diner in Springfield at 7AM I think it's just Audrey and I. Or should I say Scoopie and Tigger

I might be going solo this run, but I will meet you guys there for the pre-run.

  6. Ok, well I went and got my Seafoam and added one can to the gas tank, the second I was going to add about 1/3 to the vacuum line. Well I did that with the engine running, and waited 5 min as per the directions and there was no plume of exhaust, or performance difference. The only difference is a check engine light that came on and will not turn off.

    Suggestions?

  7. I know Wegmans seems to be a common starting point for many Mini Runs, so how about starting at one in Woodbridge?

Based on the recommendation of 1 hr 30 min drive, I suggest 07:30. Any takers?

  8. Had a great time, despite the heat. I wanted to second Edge's comments and thank everyone who set up the event. I know these things are a lot of work to get put together. You guys did a great job and we enjoyed it very much!

Posted a few pics from my iPhone, nothing fancy, but wanted to at least offer the link.

  9. I've seen so many people capturing video with Hero's or other recorders, but never get to see any of the videos? What are most people doing with their videos. Are they keeping them, posting them online, and if so, where?

  10. This sounds like a good time. I've never been kayacking before so I'm curious about a few things with this event. Is there any experience required for this trip? What are the rental costs involved and what is the location of the kayacking? I've always wanted to go kayacking and now this seems like a good excuse.

  11. My brakes are shot, so I ended up ordering some higher quality brakes online that were cheaper than the OEM brakes. I'm stuck with the delimma now where to get them installed at. Monday is tight right now, so I thought I would put the question out there if anyone knows a reasonably priced reliable place to get my rotors and pads on all for wheels installed in the NOVA area.
