Try spraying the nuts and bolts with wd-40 and let them soak for a day. In tough cases i use a torch to heat the bolts to help loosen them.

Craig, could you link the dome light, i want the blue but the kit i got was white. Everything else I changed is now blue except the dome. I see the link for the website just fine,just not sure what to click on to order the blue dome.

The test vehicle is my 15 yr old cobra with the original lens covers. So after failing inspection and not wanting to buy new i decided to try and repair.

You know that does make for a long day chief. Splitting up the driving duty sounds reasonable if neccessary. I'll volunteer to be the goose. (insert movie reference here) I'd rather not leave my mini parked overnight at the mall though.

I've been taking a break for a bit but now i am back. Seems i've missed quite a bit lately. So what is seafoam? I was wondering about the different mpg you are all getting. I have an 09 mcs that at its worst was getting 33.1 mpg coming back from a vacation in florida at 5-8 mph over the speed limit using cruise control and 6th gear with 2 passengers,luggage and the a/c on. The best i have seen to date when i baby it is 36 mpg. The only mod is a k+n air filter. Around town i still get around 30mpg.

Not sure about that... I have only seen that warning twice since october of last year. It bonged at me when the temp dropped to 38 degrees F. No problems with my windows.

Tuesday dec 1 saw a grey mcs spun out on the entrance ramp just before the kennedy center about 5:27 pm.(just before you cross the roosevelt bridge)the left rear tire was missing and it looked like all the airbags were deployed. :boring:

There are some different shaped bulbs but they all seem to share the same connection. I tried installing the bulbs for the map lights...they light up when you first put them in but when you drive it home(push it all the way in they are no longer illuminated. I tried plugging it in both ways to no avail. Am I using the wrong bulbs?

Just figured out how to do the footwells on the driver and passenger side. If you just remove the plastic covers you need patience and a steady hand.
Unless you dissassemble more, tweezers or a pair of small needle nose will make pulling the stock bulbs out easier.

I am looking for someone who has knowledge of bulb swaps. The package from mach v has instructions for the dome light but no clue how to do the others.

I ordered the led's for my 09 mcs....just swapped out the dome light. When i figure out how to do the rest of the leds i'll post some pics. This is just from swapping out the dome tonight.
I doubt the claims of 4 times brighter but we will see when i am done with the rest of the change out.

Has any one tried knocking on the doors of the local tv stations to see if they might be interested in covering the run. Might be a good way to get some more donations from the general public. :congrats:

I saw a mini the other day parked along the 3500 block of 13th street n.w. in dc. Vanity dc tags(must be a caps fan or a fan of sammy hagar:top:),with dcmm sticker in the window.
