  1. Michael: I still have the web spokes. As I mentioned, they do have some road rash. If you would like to look at them, I live in Burke so it probably is not too far from where you live. Send me a message or call me at 703.455.9017 to set up a time to come out. Thanks John

  3. Craig: Thank you for your insights. I just wanted to make sure before I take the plunge. I am looking for a way more comfortable ride and am considering both Bridgestone and Michelin brands...seems like I can get a good price at Costco. Any sense as to whether the TPMS used in the 2010 model wheels will work with the internal system in the 2009 model? I have a very good set of MINI 2010 wheels with TPMS and want to use them on my Clubby.

  4. Question related to this matter...is this an issue only with MINI Ss&JCWs or is it an issue with all turbos? I asked a similar question on NAM but have received no repsonses..., i.e. I wanted to know if this a technical/enginerring issue or a quality control issue at the factory or some of both? I'm interested in your comments. Thanks

  5. IMO, MINI's oil change intervals are too long. That said, I know there are at least 99000 views on this topic. As you own the car over time, you may want to consider having you oil analyzed by e.g Blackstone labs; by doing this you can make a better decision re: best interval for you using both quantitative and qualitative data. I change my own oil, (other than the oil change done by MINI as part of the maintenance service for the first few years of ownership). It is easy to do and fairly inexpensive. :top:

  6. I live in Burke but would be happy to help you with an oil change. I have the ramps & others tools needed. If you could come by before Saturday evening, we can change the oil. I highly recommed an OEM filter; they come with a new "o ring" and drain plug washer/gasket. Let me know! :wavey:

  7. For future reference, the Caribou Coffee in Fairfax is located right across the street from the REI at Farifax Corner (shopping complex) & right next door to the Plow and Hearth store. It also is very close to the Ruth Chris. Plenty of parking is avai

  8. I would appreciate some assistance in identifying, including the specs, ceramic brake pads for my new 2009 Clubman S. I am very tired of cleaning/washing the wheels with OE brake pads. If anyone has such info, it is much appreciated. Thank you
