I am a little surprised from the lack of response especially on the maintenance parts. Either people don't work on there own MINIs anymore or much fewer R53's since I left. I guess next option will be Craiglist or EBay

Is the "Ian Cull's auto-up circuit" pretty easy to install/program?

Here is the replacement Cars and Coffee from ODCC.
"For those that are not aware, the Cars & Coffee held at Kohl's near Fair Oaks was shut down a few weeks ago. Since then, a new location was identified, and their inaugural event is happening this weekend, July 12th.
The new location is at Dunkin Donuts in Dulles Landing from 7 - 9 AM. I'll be attending since it's about 5 minutes from my house. ;-)

I just got an email from NoVa Sports Car Club that the Kohls Cars and Coffee was shut down by the police today due to hooligans :banghead: It sounded like the event is shut down for good.

Brian there's a closed Facebook group for mtts. Christine is ok, she was involved and is ok, but got some gravel to the face. Lay I heard a guy from MINI USA was driving her in her car. I think she was getting looked at on st Louis
Thanks for the update. I found the closed group and requested to join.
You must always be cautious on a group drive with strangers. At least with our group we know how each of us drives and reacts to situations.

I just found this posted on Facebook.
"Subject: MINI Accident Report - No serious injuries - drive safe
During this morning’s leg of MINI TAKES THE STATES, there was a multi-vehicle collision involving eight MINIs. The accident was the result of a chain reaction from a car in the lead having to brake. We are happy to report that there were no injuries to any of those involved in the incident and no one chose treatment as a result. The accident occurred following a police escort while leaving Memphis on Monday morning. 3 cars were towed and the other vehicles were driven to Roadshow MINI for repairs. MINI USA is doing everything in its power to get these Motorers back on the road as soon as possible. We appreciate everyone's concern on this matter and we'll keep everyone posted with updates throughout the rest of MTTS."

I enjoyed watching your adventures on FB. I don't know if you saw today that there was about a 12 MINI pile up near Memphis. I know Kyle's MINI Kowalski deployed air bags. All of the people are safe. Not a lot of info released yet
Where did you read about this? I think my friend, Lilcoopr from Canada, might has been in this but I can't find any info.

These were taken in a little old oyster town, Mobjack VA. Went up on a day trip to see some old friends. I was kind of bummed that a lot of the older abandoned buildings down on the water were demolished, but we still found some cool old places.

Sounds like a good plan :top: I can meet most evenings or weekends anywhere around Chantilly, Fairfax or Sterling area. If you are going to Ted's next week I could possible meet where you all park.
