ACTOFFY Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago Hi, I am a new owner of a Mini Countryman. I live in PG County and I was hoping someone could tell me a good mechanic that can help me with my car. Oil Changes, and understanding resetting service lights. I was warned that it was expensive and hard to find a mechanic that works on these types of cars. No one wants to change the oil in my car because of the possiblity of a cracked oil filter housing after a quick oil change. Thanks in advance for any assistance on this. 1
scotty Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago Well you definitely do not want to go to the dealership for that because they will drain your wallet, but truly you can change oil yourself that's what I always did and as long as you follow the torque specs for the oil filter housing and the drain plug it's really very easy and much much cheaper, but if you really prefer to have it done and are willing to drive to Chantilly you can take it to GT peace, they are mini masters there and very reasonably priced.
