  1. Another MOTD has come and gone! All that I'm left with is shirts, photos, videos and great memories!!! It was very nice to see and hang with all of the terrific DC Metro folks! Hope that some, if not all of you got to eat and go pee on your rides home (not in the car)... I was home at 2:00...

  2. Oh no. I wasn't talking about *you* being off your meds, I was answering your question about *other* people who would do like you do :-))

    I see who you're talking about...:itsme:

By the way, isn't the biggest holiday in Denver 4/20?

    Just asking...

  3. I'm in Atlanta until Friday, but at home, I've got the car ready, and supplies piled in the office waiting to be loaded into the car. A pile of mini-related shirts is staged in the closet waiting to see which ones will be selected to attend the event...

  4. Not that far

We Are meeting at the spot by the lake where I did glamour shots the last two years. The upper dam is by the marina and I didn't want people thinking that it was that boat ramp.

Leave Fontana make a left onto 28

Cross a little bridge and it's the first lot on the left after you cross the bridge

If you're driving more than 3 minutes you probably passed it

Got it! The boat ramp where you took my pictures last year!

  5. I was thinking it might be fun to do a club dinner at Natahala right after the car shoot.

We are doing the car shoot at 5:00 at the parking lot by the boat ramp near the lower dam. From there we can caravan up to Natahala which is about 45 minutes from Fontana, have dinner and get back right about the right time for the brew swap

    Anyone want to do it???

Is the lower dam the one by Tapoco?

  6. I use my iPod but I'm not sure you'd want my crazy music which can range from the Muppets to classic rock to 80's hip hop and some other random stuff

I use my iPod too, but made some CDs anyway. Pretty much classic rock from the 60's and 70's. Good motoring music to get you pumped up for the twisties!

  7. I got a peak at the map for vendor row last night. I'll be in a tent between MINI Fini and Detroit Tuned. It's the spot where Helix frequently is located but they're over near Way and Henderson MINI.

I'm excited, I've got a 20' x 30' tent and am ready to create some MINI art!!!

Alright Ms. Demille, La Mosa is ready for her closeup! :top:

  8. Whatever it is, it looks really cool.

I had mine painted by MAACO Dale but he's down in Hampton Roads. He did a great job. The skirts do look similar to what I have. I really like the rear piece, can't wait to see this installed. You better get it done before the Dragon so that I can shoot it!!!! :top:

Your photo shoot is the main reason why I want to do it before the dragon!

  9. :top:

As long as I'm not leading I'm good with it

    :top:

I can lead. I've driven the route in my head a couple of times already today. There's a Exxon gas station and and a big Krogers along the route in Pigeon Forge about 60 miles from Fontana that we can hit to stock up on food.
