  1. Greetings. This is Erica from Baltimore (PW/B 2013 S Coupe, we may have met on Veterans' Day at MTTB) and I've organized a meet at the MINI of Baltimore County dealership, followed by a drive that ends up at the Garage Mahal for the Post Holiday Party. So far we've got 6 or 7 cars at the dealership and 4 cars on the drive, so at this point it's a fairly cozy event.

    Part One

    1. Meet at MINI of Baltimore County, hook up to their wifi and have fun signing up for MOTD events--signups open that day. Official Dragon registration isn't until the 12th, but the events will be full by then. MoBC is on board with this and will have snacks! You don't have to be going to the Dragon to come hang out and/or eat their snacks.

    You will need:

    a) a device to get online (and charger if needed)

    b) this link to the Dragon schedule http://www.minisonthedragon.com/2013-schedule.php

    c) a pre-made account for MOTD from this link http://www.minisonthedragon.com/create-account.php

    d) to RSVP on the C3M event

    PART TWO

Leave from MINI of Baltimore County on a 2-3 hour drive engineered by NJ MINI enthusiast Mike Rudolph! This drive's endpoint will be the DCMM Garage Mahal Party, and we will all be bringing something for the potluck. Anyone coming to your party has been instructed to RSVP on this forum.

    You will need:

    a) radio

    b) route sheet and/or GPX file (may not be available until the morning-of, stay tuned)

    c) your Garmin if you use one

    d) to RSVP for the DRIVE portion of the day on C3M:

    PART THREE:

Party with the folks of DCMM!

  2. You can find a limited selection at Best Busy but the best selection and prices are online. There have been a number of discussion here. You can search radio or 2-way and here is a recent posting by Edge...

The forum won't allow me to look at this link. I'll do some searches. I was told (by a real-live motorer) to get one by Cobra. But none of those are in a brick and mortar store at the moment.

    Thanks!

  3. Not having a 2-way only means that you are not hearing the conversations and comments... about why we had to stop or pull over to the side of the road, who we are waiting for, that &%@ SUV messing up the photo-op by breaking in our line, the minivan "with an obnoxious amount of stick people on the back window", the %)@$# farm combine going 3 mph ahead of us, Marco.... Polo, etc. They do add to the fun and experience but are not required.

Ooooh!! I want one. I can't seem to locate any in real-live stores, have to get them online, and now I've obviously waited too long. If anybody is feeling generous tomorrow, I'd love to borrow one, just name your collateral. :) I'll be the head-scratching lost-looking n00b in a month-old PW/B S coupe. I also have USMS (US Masters Swimming group) license plates.
