I do my My 04 R50 with 130k+ miles gets sea-foamed about every 6 months. I do half a can into the vacuum line and the rest into the gas tank. Let it sit for 30 mins plus then go and dog it for about 5 miles and blow everything out. My R50 will go from 33mpg to 35 mpg hwy after a good sea-foaming. I think it has a more predominate affect on the older cars than the newer.

In Va, Fog lights have to be off when the high beams are on. If they fail just put the covers on or put black tape over them and they will pass....

Lets see here, Ender is about to hit 130k, I bought him at 85k just after he had a new tranny put in so i figure i have about another 30-40k before I have to start worrying about major issues with the tranny so on a personal level Im only doing mods that I will be able to pull off if/when the CVT finally goes (again). Things that have gone wrong on Ender in the last two years were, A/C line from compressor to firewall blew out (Total repair cost $500), Alternator went out (Cost $300). These are sort of expected in a car thats 9 years old but the kicker for me is the repair cost. Unfortunetly I cant justify lowering or doing any other High Priced mods anymore due to the life expentancy of my car and the overall cost to repair/replace stuff on Ender. Yours might be different but depending on the year and make of your MINI I would do some research on some know faults that might be occurring in the next few years to see if it will bebefit/hurt you in the long run.

CHIVE ON!!

Im not sure if my issue is along the same lines but has anyone had this happen to their DCMM sticker also.....Might be time to get and new one..

Sounds like this is the problem I had. Its hard to look at but there is a line that goes from the condensor to the firewall. The whole hose is metal except for about 6 inches. The rubber portion was the failure point on mine as it was rubbing a part of metal on the car which eventually made the hose fail and leak out all my coolant.

My A/C went out last summer on my 04 R50. What are your symptoms. Also I went to Sterling Import Auto Services and he determined it was a blown line. Fixed and recharged for a 1/4 of what the dealership wanted.

Sounds like i have to pull out the 'ol N64 and 4 controllers for some true carting........I wonder if I can fit a TV setup in the back of Ender for some hyperfest Mario cart N64 style
-
Ah, yes perfect. This is exactly what I want to do! I assume it covers the whole belt-line from the front windshield to the rear?
They give you enough to go all the way around the car and then some.

The chrome trim around my windows, i wish it was black!
Do you mean the chrome "belt-line" just below the windows???? If that's the case then you would prob be better off getting the black belt line kit.
taping all that off to paint can be a pain, most people (myself included) choose to do vinyl for the beltline and its fairly easy to put on+1

I love the plastidip look however i'm always really hesitant about some DIY projects. I always think that i'll end up messing something up pretty bad. Does anyone know of a paint shop/place where I can take my MINI in to have it done for me?
I'm sure its easy i'm just on the more cautious side when it comes to paint.
Not to sure on a shop but I am more than willing to help/do what ever you need done...I plan on adding some Blue blaze to mine next weekend...Once you do it once you will be more than confident enough to try other tricks with it....The best part is if you don't like it you can just peel it off with no repercussions

Nick, Haemish attached the 2013 route sheet.
Im such an Idiot....Saw the past ones and blew right past the last two....:stupid:
-
What is the planned route.....Since we are coming from the other direction I was thinking of meeting somewhere on the route or just meeting the group there.

Spring is in the air, time to plasti-dip something. I thought what would say look at me :questionmark:  NEON ORANGE mirrors.
Only think I found was how much my orange stripe from last year has faded, just have to freshen that up.
Looking Good!!....Im thinking of doing new stripes and mirrors in Purple this year....
Did anyone take picture of their mini when it snowed like crazy
