Cheap protection from mushrooming strut towers. With all the construction in this area you cant be too safe.

That is very very tempting. Hope the weather is good this weekend last I looked they changed Sat/Sun to rain.

When I parallel park, I lower my mirror so I can see the curb. I've never scraped that way. (Until the next time a parallel park, of course).
I miss having cars that did this for me, both my A4 and my CC did that. Such a nice feature. You can normally find me half standing while parallel parking so I can see the curb. If you have memory seats and mirrors you can set a setting to the lowered mirror setting up.

Or set up some flexible foam posts, work on your depth perception and knowing where the corners of your car are so this isnt an issue.

Yeah I was going to have Mach V do a check over the whole car as well. The battery was replaced when I got it. THanks for the heads up, just want to start getting a list together and some planning in.

Thanks for clarifying!

I have a 2005 Cooper as well which is my fun car, just posting up some pics that is all.

Picked up a D700 about a month ago and this Kia Optima about 4 months ago. The optima has been lowered about 1.5in on springs, wheels spaced out 15mm, 5000K bulbs installed to replace the OEM 4300K, tint from the dealer that is going to be swapped for better stuff, black roof spoiler, splash guards and OEM LED DRLs with a bright LED strip installed by me! The LED DRLs are currently only available in Korea and will soon only be here on the SXL which has a redesigned bumper cover to make them fit. Enjoy.

With deciding to keep my Cooper until its paid off I am wondering what kind of maintenance I should look into and parts I should replace/upgrade. I have 112K mile on it and things seem to be in good working order but I would rather be proactive with this. Are there any suspension components I should be looking at? Bushings?

So funny story, even though I replaced my Jeep I still have my Mini, haven't been driving it much until this weekend when i renewed my love for it. Have intentions of paying it off then upgrading to a used 2nd Gen S. Got some small things in mind for her over the coming months other than driving her.

Saw you all this morning at Caribou. Made me miss my mini. I was in the red doorless Jeep and said hello as I went past. Got some confused looks lol.
