[FS: Six (6) Silver S-Lites for sale R85 - Used]

Up for sale are six S-Lite rims from a Mini Cooper S. Four rims are from a 2004 MCS and 2 are from a 2006 MCS. Five are in good condition and one has a slight bend on the inner lip of the rim but can still hold air with a tire on. I can send out pictures of each rim if anyone is interested.

 

Prices are negotiable.

[Quick Release Oil Drain plug]

I have a brand new quick-release oil drain plug that I had purchased from Outmotoring earlier this year. I took it out of the package to look at it but it was never installed on my car.

Based ont he information from their website the drain plug will fit the 2002-2006 mini cooper and the 2004-2008 convertibles.

I am looking to get some rims and snow tires from my Mini this year. I came across some 15" rims that have come off of a 2nd gen mini.

Does anyone know if there are any fitment issues with using 2nd gen wheels on my 2004 without a big brake kit?

 

I am currently running the stock S-lites.

Did you put seafoam in the crankcase? I am curious to see how it would react with synthetic oil.

 

I was looking a similar system by 3m the Do-It-Yourself Fuel System Tune-Up Kit, 08963.

Has anyone tried that?

[Windshield replacement]

Safelite has their own version of the glass and they do use others (SGC -Safelite Glass Corp. or Pilkington). I have had a few from them due to them having to redo the installation.

 

I had many problems with thier installation and have had to take my car back there 7 times. (Long Story) I would seriously avoid taking it to the Alexandria location because thats where my problems started.

 

The arlington one is nice and they did my rework but I would make sure that the have the side pillar pieces in stock and your windsield is aligned correctly. Since mine isn't correctly aligned I get a noise from the plastic pillar cover and have lost the pillar covers going down the highway.

 

I have heard that many people have had succcess using some of the other smaller shops.
