IndiCooper Posted March 28, 2011 Report Share Posted March 28, 2011 I don't think I'm gonna wrap the whole front end in blue painters tape, im gonna be getting enough wierd looks as it is, but what i really need is something to protect my windshield from rocks,2 out of the 4 years ive gone I've gotten a rock chip in my windshield and i didn't even take my car the first year so its more like 2 outta 3!!!! It ran me $500, without the replacement warranty (which uses Safelite). I think it was an extra $100 to include the replacement warranty. Having had it before, and knowing how MINIs are so prone to windshield impact cracks, I wanted the same treatment done on my new windshield. It isn't cheap, but in my own opinion, it's worth it.
