DESCRIPTION:\n \n&lt\;p&gt\;As some of you have seen in the event plann
	ing section (everyone else become a member and see what you are missing!!)
	 DCMM has created a karting team (Cooper Kart Racing) to compete in the En
	duro Kart race at Hyper-fest this year. DCMM will be up against 14 other t
	eams (some of which will be joined by other DCMM members..traitors). Here

	ee all the craziness they have to offer. I will be attending the entire da
	y and would like to create a caravan if there is enough interest (details 
	will be posted at a later time). The karting event itself goes from 8:00pm
	-10pm. So come out and support your fellow DCMMers! Also\, if you are a me

	e now\, please reply with it ASAP.  Otherwise please be prepared to give y
	our team name at the drivers  meeting that night.&lt\;/p&gt\;\n&lt\;p&gt\;
	 &lt\;/p&gt\;\n&lt\;p&gt\;Plan to have all your drivers at SPK's Washingt
	on Circuit headquarters by 7:15pm  that night to check in\, sign the waive
	r\, attend the drivers meeting\,  and get your kart assignment. There will
	 be a famous Le Mans start -  starting drivers line up\, run across the pa
	vement when the green flag  drops\, hop in their idling karts\, and go at 
	8:00pm.  After 120 minutes\, the team that has covered the most distance s
	hall be  declared the winner. Trophies will be awarded for first\, second\
	, and  third place team finishes. Otherwise the tentative race rules are p
	retty  simple.  Here they are in no particular order:&lt\;/p&gt\;\n&lt\;p&
	gt\; &lt\;/p&gt\;\n&lt\;p&gt\;1) Each team will be at least two people.&l
	t\;/p&gt\;\n&lt\;p&gt\; &lt\;/p&gt\;\n&lt\;p&gt\;2) Each driver on each t
	eam must do at least 20 laps.&lt\;/p&gt\;\n&lt\;p&gt\; &lt\;/p&gt\;\n&lt\
	;p&gt\;3) Three pit-stops and two driver changes are mandatory. Stop &amp\
	; go  pit stops are allowed\; the idea here is of course to try to make th
	ings  more equal for 3- and 4-driver teams.&lt\;/p&gt\;\n&lt\;p&gt\; &lt\
	;/p&gt\;\n&lt\;p&gt\;4) No electronic communication - signs/pit boards/han
	d signals only.&lt\;/p&gt\;\n&lt\;p&gt\; &lt\;/p&gt\;\n&lt\;p&gt\;5) No b
	umping\, blocking\, or rough driving.&lt\;/p&gt\;\n&lt\;p&gt\; &lt\;/p&gt
	\;\n&lt\;p&gt\;6) Point-by hand signals are highly recommended.&lt\;/p&gt\
	;\n&lt\;p&gt\; &lt\;/p&gt\;\n&lt\;p&gt\;7) Driver attire is long sleeves\
	, long pants\, closed-toe shoes\, and full  face DOT helmets with visors. 
	SPK has loaner suits and helmets if  needed. Gloves are highly recommended
	.&lt\;/p&gt\;\n&lt\;p&gt\; &lt\;/p&gt\;\n&lt\;p&gt\;8) If your kart break
	s\, spare karts will be on pit road - ready for you to hop in and go back 
	out.&lt\;/p&gt\;\n&lt\;p&gt\; &lt\;/p&gt\;\n&lt\;p&gt\;9) If you break do
	wn\, get stuck\, or run out of gas on the course\, STAY IN YOUR KART - SPK
	 staff will come to you.&lt\;/p&gt\;\n&lt\;p&gt\; &lt\;/p&gt\;\n&lt\;p&gt
	\;10) If you spin\, make contact with anything\, or do something else  foo
	lish on course\, you will get a black flag and will need to pit in.  The b
	lack flag policies for this race will be explained at the drivers  meeting
	. You can absolutely assume that individual drivers and/or teams  will be 
	parked WITHOUT REFUND for repeated infractions.&lt\;/p&gt\;\n&lt\;p&gt\; 
	&lt\;/p&gt\;\n&lt\;p&gt\;11) The consumption of alcohol is prohibited unti
	l after you're done driving your stint.&lt\;/p&gt\;\n&lt\;p&gt\; &lt\;/p&
	gt\;\n&lt\;p&gt\;12) We may require one fuel stop for each team\, this wil
	l be explained at the drivers meeting.&lt\;/p&gt\;\n&lt\;p&gt\; &lt\;/p&g
	t\;\n&lt\;p&gt\;13) Anything listed on the SPK website or announced at the
	 drivers  meeting or stated by any SPK or NASA official at the event super
	sedes  anything written here.&lt\;/p&gt\;\n&lt\;p&gt\; &lt\;/p&gt\;\n&lt\
	;p&gt\; &lt\;/p&gt\;\n&lt\;p&gt\;As per the policies you agreed to when y
	ou registered there are no  refunds or credits available\, although your t
	eam spot is fully sellable  or transferrable to someone else if it is arra
	nged before the race.&lt\;/p&gt\;\n&lt\;p&gt\; &lt\;/p&gt\;\n&lt\;p&gt\;F
	or those who would like some \"warmup\" seat time at SPK\, they are open  
	frequently (presumably including earlier that day before our enduro) but  
	please check with 'em to be sure.&lt\;/p&gt\;\n&lt\;p&gt\; &lt\;/p&gt\;\n
	&lt\;p&gt\;We are 100% a go \"rain or shine\"\, we will only shut down for
	 heavy  weather i.e. lightning in the area. Usually we then continue the r
	ace  after the storm has passed. But the forecast for Saturday evening loo
	ks good currently.&lt\;/p&gt\;\n&lt\;p&gt\; &lt\;/p&gt\;\n&lt\;p&gt\;If y
